Welcome to SuperMind Thinking. I’m John Sherry, the writer and creator.
SuperMind Thinking started life some years ago during my troubles. In fact, the idea grew out of the worst circumstances ever. Just after the Credit Crunch I lost my home after a failed business and ended up living in a friend’s empty family property. I had literally nothing – no income, basic assets, no relationship, no job, no possessions, and not much else.
It was bleak and my prospects looked poor.
It was then, and only then, I asked myself WHY. Why had someone who had once been so successful now ended up so low, feeling and looking an abject failure?
The truth, I finally realised, was in my mind. In there over the years my beliefs hadn’t been sharpened and elevated. They had become stale, defeatist, and pessimistic. And that recipe, with all the other lesser thoughts that fed me, dripped into my actions and behaviours. In truth, I was on the way down well before all the world economies were.
Which got me thinking that I had to reverse it. To rebuild my life through re-strengthening my mind. I dealt with the urgent tasks to survive but the chief task among them was mental development and advancement. I read every self development book there was, every success story in print, every mental empowerment blog and bestseller to fuse new steel into the fragile structure of my mind.
The Missing Piece.
That led to blogging for a good while in a long gone but popular blog called Real Simple People as I wanted to explore putting my ideas down in some form of print. I loved it, but something wasn’t there. All the while as my mental muscles expanded within the neural pathways of my brain, there was a missing piece; a term, a phrase that defines our most advanced, progressive, far reaching yet ultra aware mindset grounded in logic yet happily free at exploring future concepts and reality.
Last year after deciding to write a book to help me lose weight (well, to spend time writing really so I wasn’t eating instead after developing a running injury), the term kept coming up as THE definition of the ultimate mind. How did I know? I had already written it in the book a number of times. IT found me! It was unmistakeable.
All ideas I had ever had, all I had pulled together that I kept within my mind from those empty house days to all the pages of every inspiring book I had read, melded together into one clear, true, and powerful observation of our mentality at it’s fullest activity and most brilliant best. In its SuperMind genesis.
It literally came out of nothing, And if that’s where you are in your life, then the SuperMind Thinking on these pages are just what you and your life need. Forget where you have been, you are about to go somewhere you never thought possible.
Let’s start SuperMind Thinking!!
